About the School Of Law
The School of Law at Atharva University, Mumbai is designed for students who aspire to understand the legal system, uphold justice, and build successful careers in the legal profession. The programme provides a strong foundation in legal principles, constitutional values, ethics, and the role of law in shaping society, business, governance, and public policy. The curriculum combines classroom learning with practical legal training in areas such as Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Contract Law, Corporate Law, Family Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Cyber Law, Environmental Law, and International Law. Students also develop essential skills through legal research, drafting, moot courts, case studies, debates, negotiations, and advocacy exercises.
Through internships, court visits, legal aid activities, seminars, workshops, and interaction with legal professionals, students gain real-world exposure and professional confidence. The School of Law prepares graduates for careers as advocates, legal advisors, corporate lawyers, judicial service professionals, policy researchers, compliance officers, legal consultants, and other roles across the legal and corporate sectors.

View ProfileDr. Shweta Shah is the Head of the Dattaji Rane School of Law, Atharva University, Mumbai. She has previously served as I/c Principal of Reena Mehta College of Law and Vice Principal of Adhia College of Law. She holds an LL.M. in Business Laws and a Ph.D. in Constitutional Law, along with Diplomas in Cyber Law, Intellectual Property Rights, and Human Rights. A legal educator and practicing advocate, she has appeared before the Bombay High Court and other courts. She has over 15 publications, presented 15+ research papers nationally and internationally, chaired academic sessions, and received the Maharashtra Ratna Award for her contribution to academics.

Mahavir Mandot is a legal academic, researcher, and practicing advocate, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Atharva University, Mumbai. He holds a BMS in Finance, LL.B., LL.M. in Business Law (First Rank Holder), and Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in IPR at Shoolini University. His expertise includes Intellectual Property Rights, Business Law, Cyber Law, and Artificial Intelligence and Law. He has served as a judge in national and international moot court, mediation, negotiation, and debate competitions. He has also presented research papers at various national and international conferences and actively contributes to legal education and academic research.
