About the Scholarship Program
Atharva University's scholarship initiatives are designed to promote educational excellence while supporting students from deserving backgrounds. The University provides scholarships under multiple categories, including Martyr's Daughter Scholarship, Jammu & Kashmir Student Scholarship, North East India Student Scholarship, and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Scholarship.

Martyr's Daughter Scholarship
A tribute to the courage and sacrifice of our Armed Forces. Atharva University proudly offers a 100% course fee waiver to support the daughters of martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
*Applicable with effect from 1st August 2026.
Scholarship Highlights

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be the daughter of a martyr from the Indian Army, Indian Navy or Indian Air Force.
- The act of martyrdom must have occurred while serving in the line of duty.
- The applicant must satisfy all eligibility requirements of the chosen academic programme.
Selection Process
- Submission of valid documentary evidence proving eligibility.
- Documents must be verified and submitted through the respective District Sainik Board.
- Applicants may be invited for a personal interview, if required.

- Scholarship is available for one deserving student per eligible course.
- Continuation of the scholarship is governed by the University's scholarship policy.

- Total annual family income must be below ₹8 Lakhs.
- Applicant must satisfy the admission eligibility of the selected programme.

Continuation of the scholarship in subsequent years is subject to the University's Scholarship Policy and the student's academic performance in the admitted programme.
University Decision
All rights regarding scholarship approval, continuation and allocation are reserved with the Managing Committee of Atharva University Mumbai.
Scholarship Policy
- Scholarships are offered strictly according to the eligibility criteria prescribed by Atharva University.
- Scholarship benefits are applicable only after successful admission and verification of all required documents.
- Only one scholarship can be availed by a student unless otherwise approved by the University.
- The University reserves the right to modify or withdraw any scholarship scheme without prior notice.
Continuation Guidelines
- Continuation of scholarship from the second year onwards depends upon the University's Scholarship Policy.
- Students are expected to maintain satisfactory academic performance throughout the programme.
- The Managing Committee of Atharva University Mumbai reserves all rights regarding scholarship approval and continuation.
- Any discrepancy in submitted documents may lead to cancellation of the scholarship.
