Bachelor of Architecture at Atharva University, Mumbai is designed for students who want to shape the built environment through creativity, technical knowledge, and sustainable design thinking. This five-year professional programme builds a strong foundation in architectural theory, design principles, spatial planning, and the relationship between people, places, culture, and climate.
The B.Arch curriculum combines studio-based learning with practical exposure in architectural drafting, model-making, building materials, construction technology, structural systems, urban planning, landscape design, and environmental studies. Students also gain experience with digital design tools, computer-aided design, 3D modelling, visualisation, and presentation techniques to transform their ideas into detailed architectural solutions.
Through design studios, workshops, site visits, industry interaction, and project-based learning, students develop analytical thinking, spatial imagination, problem-solving, and professional communication skills. The programme prepares graduates for careers in architecture, urban design, interior architecture, landscape architecture, construction management, sustainable design, and related fields in the built environment.
