Prof. Roma Bains is a marketing, branding, communications, and management professional
with over 14 years of industry experience, including a significant tenure with The Times of
India Group. She currently serves as Head of Marketing and Coordinator – MBA 1 at
Atharva University, Mumbai, where she provides academic leadership and contributes to
curriculum development, student engagement, experiential learning, and industry-oriented
management education.
She holds an MBA in Marketing & Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Management
Studies, Pune, and is an ICF Certified International Trainer & Coach in Leadership,
Executive, and Lifestyle skills.
During her corporate career with The Times of India Group, she held leadership
responsibilities across branding, recruitment solutions, client management, media strategy,
and integrated marketing communications. Her industry experience enables her to bring
strong practical and contemporary business perspectives into the classroom.
Her areas of expertise include Marketing Strategy, Brand Management, Consumer
Behaviour, Employer Branding, Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital
Marketing, Go-to-Market Strategy, and Leadership Development. She is passionate
about developing future business leaders through experiential learning, industry application,
mentoring, and skill-based management education.
Mrs. Pratibha Khedekar is an accomplished academician, researcher, and management educator with over 15 years of teaching experience. She serves as Assistant Professor and Head of the Examination Department at Atharva University, contributing to research, placements, and institutional development. She holds a Master’s in Finance from London Metropolitan University and a Master of Management Studies from the University of Mumbai, and is pursuing her Ph.D. in Management. Her industry experience includes ICICI Bank, TISS, and E-Trade Financial Services, London. Her areas of expertise include Finance, International Business, Economics, Digital Payments, Marketing, and Financial Literacy. She has published research, designed certificate courses, and mentored learners through SWAYAM and Coursera. She is passionate about bridging academia and industry, promoting women’s financial independence, and empowering students through career development and financial awareness initiatives.
Management professional and educator with 25+ years of industry
experience across e-commerce, digital publishing, insurance, Martech,
business development, and corporate relations. Currently associated with
the School of Business Management, Atharva University Mumbai, with
responsibilities spanning management education, student mentoring,
corporate relations and campus placements for MBA students, industry
engagement, internships, and employability development.
A distinguished academic and industry professional with over 30 years of global experience
spanning higher education, marketing, management, and corporate leadership across India,
the USA, Canada, Brazil, China, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
Has held senior leadership positions with Haleon/GlaxoSmithKline, Publicis Groupe, Dentsu
Aegis Network, Omnicom, and GroupM. Academic interests include Marketing Management,
strategic marketing, and experiential learning through the Case Study Method. Published
research in peer-reviewed journals and contributed chapters to academic publications with
IIP International. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. at SAU; holds an MBA in Marketing from IMDR
Pune and a BE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delhi. "

industry experience. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the School of Business
Management, Atharva University Mumbai, she holds an MBA and is a UGC-NET qualified PhD
scholar awaiting viva voce. Her research work has been published in Scopus and ABDC-indexed
journals, with contributions to book chapters published by Taylor & Francis, Springer nature and
IGI Global. She has presented research at international conferences, including IEEE, and her
research interests encompass FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, digital communities, sustainable
management practices, and socio-economic systems.

Dr. Vaibhav Laxman Patil is an accomplished academician and finance professional with over 20 years of combined experience, including 10 years in the industry and 10 years in higher education. He is currently serving as the Head of the Finance Department (HOD – Finance) at Atharva Institute of Management Studies, Atharva University since last 10 years.
He holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Management Studies (MMS) from the University of Mumbai. In addition, he has qualified the prestigious UGC-NET and SET examinations in Management.
During his industry career, Dr. Patil was associated with the successful implementation and support of the SAP Finance and Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) modules for various ministries across national and international projects as part of the SAP Finance Consulting team. He has also contributed to several high-impact projects for leading organizations, including Wipro, TCS, CRISIL, Deutsche Bank, and Star Sports, gaining extensive expertise in finance, enterprise systems, digital transformation, and business consulting.
