Research and Innovation

  • The Institute has an established Research Committee to promote and encourage research among students and Faculty. Support is provided to faculty members in applying for research projects offered by different funding agencies.
  • There are about 100 scholars working in different domains of engineering and science. Institute has created an ecosystem for innovation, creation, and transfer of knowledge by establishing R&D cell, MOUs with industries, Innovation laboratory (i-lab), I-Mac Laboratory (Apple lab) , Atharva Robotic center and Atharva Ground station
  • Atharva Ground Station: The satellite is designed to fit within a cube of 30 cm sides, and weighs nearly 10 kg. Pratham will be useful for scientific studies, help in tsunami warnings and correcting errors in GPS communication. The passion of the complete team for space technology and satellite communication has led to undertake such research activities pertaining to track of satellites and knowledge sharing ranging from antenna designing to decoding the signals.
  • Atharva Robotics Center has set up Robotic center in order to train students in Advanced Automated Manufacturing and produce highly skilled technical manpower in the field of Industrial Robotics. The trained manpower will help Indian Manufacturing Industry to adopt latest technologies to improve quality and work.
  • iMac Lab : The lab has been set up to impart knowledge of Apple technologies in budding professionals and give them a hands-on experience on the incredibly powerful Mac OS X operating system. It will enable students to get accustomed to the versatile applications of Mac and iOS. The vast variety of applications of Apple will foster their creativity and provide a platform for them to come up with ground-breaking projects.
  • The Students undergo a rigorous Project work and their progress is monitored regularly through the Research Advisory Committees. Students are required to publish minimum two papers in the area of their research before submission of the Project.
  • More than 100 books and chapters in edited volumes/books were published and around more than 300 number of papers were presented in national/international conference-proceedings by all the faculty members of existing institutes.
  • The faculty qualifications are good and many of them have good exposure and research collaboration with institutes of repute and due to being on the expert panels of Central Agencies and at University level too.
  • The University will try to develop liaison with National level government and non- government laboratories as and when required. For the holistic academic of the university it is essential to have progressive industry – institution interactions at various levels for different institutes as UG and PG level.
